Irish singer Ed Ryan brings his acclaimed music and charm to 麻豆影院 October 5!

is a highly respected Long Island singer/songwriter whose powerful voice and sharp sense of humor have made a favorite entertainer in the Irish-American community.

He鈥檚 performed with Gerry Finlay鈥檚 Cara Band, and has made a name for himself for his searing rendition of 鈥淒anny Boy鈥 and his humorous (and most requested) original sing- along called 鈥淭he Drinking Song.鈥 Critics have described him as 鈥渁n unusual blend of unbridled cynic and hopeless romantic鈥濃攏ot a bad combination for a multi-talented performer who has sung during the opening ceremonies of New York City鈥檚 St. Patrick鈥檚 Day Parade on WNBC-TV.

Ed also made a reputation for himself as a very funny man on the stand-up comedy circuit where he was headlining, as well as opening, for such greats as Ray Romano, Kevin James, Paula Poundstone, and Gabe Kaplan, as well as the Marshall Tucker Band, Jay Black & The Americans and Peter Tork, to name a few. He鈥檚 done a comedy CD called 鈥淭hat鈥檚 Not Funny,鈥 which showcases his humorous side, and released several music CDs, his most recent being 鈥淲hen New York Was Irish,鈥 which features traditional Irish songs and one original.

A true storyteller and an outstanding entertainer, Ed Ryan promises to deliver a delightful afternoon of Irish music and scintillating wit.
