is presented by听麻豆影院. 麻豆影院 is a creative learning community that develops in students the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to pursue careers in the performing arts, media and communications, business and industry, and the teaching professions. To further the College鈥檚 mission, it strives to foster good relations with the local arts community. The 2026 LI72 Film Festival is open to High School students, hoping to encourage young filmmakers to get excited about the world of filmmaking in a multimedia world.

From July 23-26 at Shorefront Park, FTC is proud to sponsor the FTC Stage at one of Long Island鈥檚 premier live music events.

Only At FTC, students gain real-world experience at the Great South Bay Music Festival, working in audio, stage production, artist management, content creation, and event operations. Students from Music, Audio Recording Technology, Business, Film/Television, and Mass Communication programs help manage the FTC Stage and its performers throughout the four-day festival.

Featuring 55+ artists across four stages, the festival offers a firsthand look at how FTC students build professional experience before graduation. 馃幍

From the Classroom to the Control Booth

ALIVE AFTER FIVE returns this summer, bringing thousands to downtown Patchogue on July 2, July 16, July 30, and August 13.

Only At FTC, hands-on learning comes to life as Audio Recording, Music Business, and Media students manage sound, lighting, and stage operations outside the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.

The Long Island Media Arts Show听celebrates Long Island鈥檚 Creative Digital Visual Arts Students with an Educational Conference and Juried Exhibition on听Friday, March 27, 2026. The Conference invites Long Island High Schools to a unique experience that features Presentations, Workshops, and Demonstrations.

The 麻豆影院 Performing Arts Center听presents Student Films and Animations, while the听麻豆影院 Gallery听displays student Photography and 2D Digital Art Exhibits.

鈽赌锔 FTC Pre-College Summer Program

Only at FTC, high school students entering grades 10, 11, or 12 are invited to apply for the FTC Pre-College Summer Program (PC). 听This unique program offers students the opportunity to:

  • 听Get an insider’s view into college life and learn valuable skills in Audio, Business, Broadcasting, Communication, Digital Arts, Multi-Media, Music, or Theatre Arts.
  • 听11th & 12th graders can earn up to six college credits.
  • Reasonable tuition & Classes start July 6, 2026

Teachrock at FTC

Only At FTC, is this interesting and educational program by the TeachRock organization that promotes music education and performance. It was organized by many well-known musicians. Intended as a way to 鈥榞ive-back鈥, the TeachRock team hosts regular educational seminars, workshops and opportunities for those in the field and in the classroom who can benefit from their expertise. TeachRock improves students’ lives by bringing the sound, stories, and science of music to all classrooms.

Launched by Stevie Van Zandt with the Founders Board of Bono, Jackson Browne, Martin Scorsese, and Bruce Springsteen, Teachrock.org has provided free, standards-aligned resources to help teachers, students, and families succeed for more than a decade.
