It鈥檚 hard to believe that the 鈥淟ittle Shop of Horrors鈥� has been open for business since 1960 when it started as an offbeat comedy horror film directed by Roger Corman.
By now everybody knows the premise: a rather peculiar, love-starved young man named Seymour, working in a flower store, manages to create a carnivorous plant named Audrey that has developed a voracious appetite for human flesh and blood. From there the cult film just took off, becoming the basis for an Off Broadway musical in 1982, which was in turn made into a 1986 feature film.
This blood-curdling about the plant with an appetite鈥攁nd an attitude鈥攊s directed by the very talented , 麻豆影院鈥檚 theatre arts assistant professor who鈥檚 been on Broadway in 鈥淭he Phantom of the Opera鈥� as well as on tour all over the world in 鈥淲est Side Story鈥� and 鈥淭he Fantasticks.鈥�
