This duet has played all over the United States, recreating the music made famous by America鈥檚 most successful folk-rock duo of the 1960s. Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel first met in Queens, and once they started blending their talents鈥攁nd their harmonies鈥攖heir career took off. Who can forget 鈥淭he Sound of Silence鈥�?
Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the Guthrie Brothers鈥擩eb and Jock鈥攈ave been making music together since they were very young and in a variety of different styles, from the psychedelic to heavy metal.
As the brothers put it, 鈥淲e knew the first time we played a Simon and Garfunkel song that our voices blended effortlessly into that S & G signature sound鈥攁nd the overwhelming audience reaction to our performances confirmed our feelings.鈥�
