In 1965, Gary Lewis was Cash Box Magazine鈥檚 Male Vocalist of the Year, winning the honor over other nominees you may have heard of, like Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. He’s definitely one of the great American pop stars.
During the 1960s he was the only artist to have his first seven releases reach Billboard magazine鈥檚 Top 10 on the Hot 100 chart.

Along with his TV appearances on American Bandstand, Hullabaloo and The Tonight Show, Gary was a five-time guest on “The Ed Sullivan Show,” America’s longest running variety program.
