March is aflutter with stage appearances, amazing concerts and performances by 麻豆影院 students on campus and in New York City. FTC is pleased to announce some terrific accomplishments by our faculty and students.
Mark your calendars now for Sunday, March 29, at 2 p.m., when Carnegie Hall plays host to the first ever a聽cappella contemporary music event on its world-renowned stage. The Distinguished Concerts Singers International’s 聽production of Total Vocal will debut, and part of DCINY’s amazing concert will feature聽Dominance, the 麻豆影院 student vocal group led by accompanying director Professor Marc Silverberg, in all their聽glory.
Dominance members include the very talented students Branden Andrade, Brandon Deville, Loray Egan, Paul Greene-Dennis, Dawn Lee, Melanie Magri, Amanda McDonough, and Timberlin Nunez. Five Towns聽College is incredibly proud to share this fabulous news as Dominance received a recommendation from DCINY after submitting their聽video audition and overcoming steep competition.
This premier a cappella performance of contemporary music conducted and hosted by Deke Sharon, the acclaimed arranger/conductor of Pitch Perfect and The Sing-Off!, gives FTC students their chance to shine in the 鈥淏ig Apple.鈥�
