The LI72 Hour Film Festival Competition

High School Filmmakers, Producers and Directors have a chance to be involved in a fun and educational experience hosted by Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº.ÌýTheÌýLI72 Hour Film Festival,Ìýthe Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº Film and Television Department invites Long Island High School students to this exciting initiative.

Last year Over 100 high school students participated in this competition and the culminating event was held on October 24, 2025. The submitted films were screened and the winning filmmakers won recognition and prizes at the Awards Ceremony. Thank you to all who participated! Watch the winning films and see who won! !

FTC Film & Television Luminaries Film Festival

TheÌýLuminaries Film Festival & Award CeremonyÌýis the culminating event of the Film and Television Department. Collaborative student projects are showcased on the Main Stage in the FTC Performing Arts Center every academic year. Film and Television faculty, staff and students impress the audience with unique and outstanding student films. From classwork to storyboards to production teams, students make ideas become reality and learn the full range of skills needed to be successful in the industry.
