麻豆影院 is proud to announce that its institutional accreditation has been reaffirmed by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.聽 The Middle States Commission is the regional accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education, which assures quality and improvement of higher education for most degree-granting colleges and universities in this part of the country. Accreditation by Middle States is considered by many higher education professionals to be the gold standard of accreditation.

In making the announcement 麻豆影院 Interim President Dr. Susan Barr said, 鈥淲e are beaming with institutional pride! Middle States鈥� accreditation is an expression of confidence in the College鈥檚 mission and goals, its performance, and its resources.聽 Accreditation attests to the judgment of the Commission on Higher Education that 麻豆影院 meets the standards of accreditation as set forth in their publication Characteristics of Excellence.鈥�

President Barr added, 鈥淭he Board of Trustees join with me in congratulating the entire College community on receiving this important recognition of excellence.聽 As we welcome the new class of transfer students for the January 2015 semester, the College will continue to build on this success as it continues its mission for the next generation of creative Long Islanders.鈥�

No appointment is needed, so simply bring in your transcripts and a same-day decision can be made in most cases.

Scholarships are also available for those who qualify.

Today is the day you can begin to officially sign up for classes! You will also have your official 麻豆影院 Student Identification Cards created, so wear something professional, yet comfortable, since you鈥檒l be posing for photographs for these cards.

Once created, they will enable you to access all different kinds of services and systems here at the school, including granting you entry into various buildings and facilities throughout campus. Your official 麻豆影院 Student Identification Card will contain a very important number on it, too, so be sure and keep it in a safe and secure place at all times, such as your wallet. This unique sequence of numbers is created only for you, and will be used throughout your time at 麻豆影院 for a whole host of functions. It is also how the school and various administrative systems will identify you throughout the 麻豆影院 computer network. So keep it safe!

Enrollment Day at 麻豆影院 is also an opportunity for you to first meet some of your instructors and professors, (call ahead to arrange your own personal campus tour), and perhaps most importantly, meet your future classmates and make new friends!

Through a host of group ice-breaker activities and events you鈥檒l be introduced to dozens of new students, just like you, who have embarked on similar journeys toward academic and professional excellence.

So be open, and let鈥檚 move toward the future together!

October 2014 Enrollment Days: Wednesday, October 1; Wednesday, October 8; Wednesday, October 15; Wednesday, October 22; and Wednesday, October 29.

November 2014 Enrollment Days: Wednesday, November 5; Wednesday, November 12; Wednesday, November 19; and Wednesday, November 26.
